  • Company details: if you order on behalf of a company, the company name and the business information you provide.
  • Account and order details: your login email, the products you order, your order history and your wishlist.
  • Technical information: basic data sent by your browser, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and the pages you visit, collected through cookies (see section 6).

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To process, prepare and deliver your orders.
  • To contact you about your order, for example to confirm it or arrange delivery.
  • To manage your account and answer your questions.
  • To send you news and offers, only if you subscribed to our newsletter. You can unsubscribe at any time.
  • To understand how our website is used and improve it.
  • To meet our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Payments

For now, orders are paid by cash on delivery, so we do not collect any card details. When online card payment and Whish payment become available, payments will be handled by secure payment providers. ROM Chocolate will not store your card details.

5. Sharing Your Information

We never sell or rent your personal information. We only share it when needed:

  • With our delivery team or delivery partners: only your name, phone number and delivery address, so they can deliver your order.
  • With service providers that help us run the website (such as hosting and website analytics), who may only use it to provide their service to us.
  • With the authorities, when the law requires it.

Our website uses cookies to keep your bag and your session working, to remember your preferences, and to measure how visitors use the website (for example with Google Analytics). You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but some parts of the website, such as the bag and checkout, may not work properly without them.

7. How Long We Keep Your Information

We keep your information while your account is active and for as long as needed for your orders and our legal and accounting obligations. After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorized access. Please keep your account password private.

You can ask us at any time to:

  • access the personal information we hold about you;
  • correct information that is wrong or incomplete;
  • delete your account and personal information, unless we must keep it by law;
  • stop sending you newsletters.

Our website is not intended for children. Orders should be placed by adults, or by minors with the permission of a parent or guardian.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page, with its date at the top.
